Meet The Designer
Merafson Ghaffarian
Every Maitre De Diamant collection begins with the vision of Merafson Ghaffarian. Born in Shiraz, Iran, she grew up immersed in artistry, floral forms, and quiet elegance — influences that continue to shape the soft lines and thoughtful details of her designs.
After leaving Iran during the revolution, Merafson rebuilt her life in the United States through creativity. Fashion became her outlet. Jewelry became her voice. Extensive travel and a deep connection to art and emotion inform each collection she creates, resulting in pieces that feel modern, meaningful, and timeless.
A graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology, Merafson launched a wholesale design house that quickly gained recognition in New York City’s Diamond District. She went on to collaborate with leading international designers, shaping collections for some of the industry’s most respected names.
Today, Merafson leads the creative vision at Maitre De Diamant, overseeing a team of designers and personally creating every piece in our most exclusive line — the Merafson Collection. Her heritage, resilience, and devotion to beauty define everything we make.
